A woman finds herself trapped between the companionship of objects and the tyranny of ‘stuff’ as her home fills with the orphan junk of a society drunk on consumption. As the walls build around her and the isolation grows, she must confront the memories she buried long ago. But first she needs to throw away her ‘How to De-clutter’ books.
STUFF is a quirky and comedic new production that respectfully shines a light on the subject of hoarding. Created through interviews with self-identified hoarders and the professionals that support them, the show combines puppetry and object theatre to explore our emotional connections and attachment to objects.
